A Day in the Life of a Procrastinator

I start my day off by waking up to the wonderful sound of my alarm clock. Seems normal enough right? Well here is the kicker. My alarm clock comes from Ikea and runs on batteries. It has lasted me well over four years and I have yet to change the three AAAs(got to hand it to the Swedish). Now is about the time where I get ready for school. Take a shower, fix my hair, brush my teeth, and if I'm lucky I won't miss the bus. The bus ride is typical, besides all of the swag that goes on in the back. and by that I mean they are really loud.

Now by the time the bus arrives at school I am dreading having to wake up from my short bus nap. but I urge myself to get up and walk to first period. Now it is about 7:40 and I am wondering why Tony always insists on trying to talk to me. What gets me through first period is Mr. Tate's wit and me playing the part of Lysander. In second period I get by by creating my websites while playing games on the computer when the teacher isn't looking. Sometimes in second period I get a little treat from Joseph when he starts spitting rhymes(rapping). Third period consists of me studying japanese while I try to take my teacher seriously. I am pretty much just counting the minutes until lunch. After lunch is Precalculus. By this time I absorb everything Andreotti says while asleep. Amazing I know. Fifth period Hodous is interesting to say the least. I try my hardest to pay attention but am constantly distracted by the love of my life. Don't worry, she doesn't know yet. Sixth period is quite amusing considering I have Kevin Nguyen. Time to get on the bus to go home.

Once I get home my life consists of eating a quick snack and watching a little television. I do this until about 11:00 o'clock at night. This is when I start my homework. Which, as you may have guessed, is the time I started this essay. Well, even though my life is pretty boring, I like it. I pretty much just count the days until Summer. I have no idea what I am going to do when I graduate.

Sorry Guys

It has been awhile since I made a post. I was grounded for about a week because I had missing assignments in some of my classes. but now everything is okay and looking good in all of my classes.

I'm excited for summer. We have only two more weeks until school is out. and to top it off my birthday is in less than a month. I just love it when everything in your life is going amazing and according to plan.

Well, it looks like it is almost time for school. I got to go.

Went To the Doctor Today

Had a good day at school and came home to get ready for my check-up at the doctors office. They said everything was all good and I was a perfectly healthy young man.

I got a wart that I had on my thumb removed. Glad to get that out of the way. I suffer from mild acne and the doctor prescribed me some medication for it. Here's hoping it works.

Going to go get my haircut at the moment, getting a pretty shaggy. What is a good way to end the day? Glee marathon? I'm thinking yes.

Another Fantastic Day At School

Well today was absolutely amazing. Today was senior boards where the seniors do their graduation interviews. Us juniors and sophomores got to get out of school at 10:45am. I personally think it is a waste of a school day but you won't hear me complaining.

I came home and had some alone time to think about life... Okay not really. but I did watch the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World again. I know, not very exciting. I got to get some sun since it was like 70 degrees outside for once. I am starting to get pretty tanned.

Anyway, just playing some xbox. Hit me up if you want to play. Gamertag is Sheriff Woody.

My Children Will Do it Differently

Everyday we are constantly surrounded by media. So much in fact that we hardly ever talk to people face to face anymore. I believe that this is impacting how we interact with one another and not in a good way. Whatever happened to actually meeting up with somebody and having a conversation.

Which is why when I have children they will not be exposed to all of this desensitizing social media. They will be forced to actually talk on the phone or go visit someone in person. Or, dare I say it, write a letter.

I will admit that social media is extremely convenient but does it really help us out in the relationships we have with people. Oh well, just some food for thought.

10 Reasons I Get Up In the Morning

10. Breakfast - The most important meal of the day they say. I love waking up to a nice bowl of Captain Crunch. Occasionally I'll go out or make some homemade waffles.

9. Xbox - One of the few ways that I actually socialize outside of school. Gamertag is Sheriff Woody if you want to play some time.

8. YouTube - It’s free of charge and as viscous as milk. YouTube changes so often, if you see the same video twice in your lifetime, well sir, that’s amazing.

7. Court Date - Sucks. Don’t even get me started on the parole hearings…who the hell is up before 10 in the A.M? Lawyers, that’s what.

6. Vacation - It’s worth getting out of bed in tropical paradise when the hotel room is hotter than a jungle and it’s as humid as the ocean.

5. Appointment - Get up? I never went to bed. If I have an appointment to go to in the morning I am always early. Nothing can keep me from sticking to a prior engagement.

4. Halloween - It’s like a modern-day Christmas.

3. Christmas - Maybe this is just the inner child talking, but I love coming downstairs to find all of those sweet presents just waiting for me. My parents always have to make coffee before we can open our presents and they take FOREVER.

2. Poptarts - They are pretty tasty.

1. School - I have to get up for school. but it is the only reason I get up early.
